Using the new Equipment Library booking system

It's time to bring our equipment library into the 21st century.

We've set up a brand new website to manage all equipment bookings. This allows us to better track items (no more lost kegs!), and allows you to see availability of items in advance.

How to book equipment

Here is a quick rundown on how to use our new system to book equipment

When you fist visit the system, you'll need to login. This is done using your registered email address (the one associated with your PayPal membership payment).

If you have never logged in before, you'll need to reset your password. Click the "I forgot my password link", and enter your email address, and click "Change Password". A new password will be emailed to you.

Once you've logged in you'll be presented with a list of equipment, and a schedule for the week. Selecting an item to book is a simple as clicking the box for the item and day your want to start your reservation. If you want to change weeks, use the green arrows next to the dates at the top of the schedule.

When a date and item is selected you will be taken to the New Reservation page. Here you have a few options to fill in.

1. If you want to book out more than 1 bit of equipment, you can click the change link here to add more items to this reservation.

2. The begin date and time.

3. The end date and time

It is important to specify the time you would like to pick this up and drop it off again, so we can confirm if whoever is looking after that bit of equipment will be around at that time.

Once you have filled in the details, you can optionally add a title and descriptions for this reservation, then click "Create" to create this reservation.

If you have tried to book equipment that is already booked out at a given time, you will receive the below error - 

Alternativly, if your reservation was succesful, you will receive the following message -

Once this reservation is completed, it will be passed onto whoever is looking after the requested equipment for approval.

We will likely email you to confirm the date and time, or request you change it if we're not available at that time.
