That's a wrap. The 2024 IPA Comp is done and dusted. Results are at the bottom of this page. One last time a huge thank you to Hop Products Australia (HPA) for being our major event sponsor.

 

IPA Comp 2025

We're already busy planning the 2025 IPA Comp. The date and venue are already locked in. Judging will take place on Sunday the 23rd of March 2025 and we will once again be at The Woodland Hotel in Coburg. Keep an eye on this page as we will launch the comp in December and entries will open in January.  

 

Styles

We will be judging according to the BJCP 2021 guidelines including the additions of Brut and Hazy IPAs. Prizes will be awarded by style and these are the style in competition:

12C - English IPA
21A - American IPA
21B - Belgian IPA
21B - Black IPA
21B - Brown IPA
21B - Brut IPA
21B - Red IPA
21B - Rye IPA
21B - Specialty IPA
21B - White IPA
21C - Hazy IPA 
22A - Double IPA

Champion Beer
Best Novice
