Over the years we’ve tried to get people to write down the club’s history. As the club rolls on, if we don’t capture how it all started — and the great stories along the way — they tend to disappear into the mists of time (or at least into half-remembered conversations at meetings).
Rather than one or two people trying to cover everything, we thought we’d make this page more of a blog. That way, posts can be backdated to roughly when things actually happened and, bit by bit, we’ll build up a proper history of the club. The posts don’t need to be long either. A photo and a few sentences explaining what’s going on is more than enough.
If you’ve got something to contribute, please send it through to the committee. No stress if you don’t have photos, but if you do, they definitely make the post a lot more interesting.
