The Annual Merri Mashers IPA competition is back again for 2022.
We will be holding our competition on Sunday the 27th of March 2022, at the Woodlands Hotel in Coburg. The deadline for entry submission and dropoff is 11am on Saturday the 19th of March 2022 (one week before the competition).

Awards and Celebration
This year we're encouraging entrants and friends to join us at The Woodlands from 5pm to celebrate the comp and watch the announcement of the awards. It should be a great way to finish off the day and we'd love to see you there.
Styles and Guidelines
We will be juding according to the new BJCP 2021 guidelines, including the additions of Brut and Hazy IPAs. Prizes will be awared by style. Actual prizes and sponsors will be announced closer to the date.

Entries must be at least 500 mL in a single bottle or can.
Judges and Stewards
We are looking for judges and stewards to help out on the day. We aim to start off judging early afternoon, with a pub lunch provided before proceedings for all judges and stewards.
No experience is necessary, we will make sure any new or inexperienced judges are seated with those who can assist.

Drop-off locations
Drop offs will be accepted at Home Make It Preston, Grain & Grape, Australian Home Brewing Oakley South, Keg King, and Greensborough Home Brewing. Postal entries can be sent to Grain and Grape, clearly marked Merri Mashers IPA competition.
