DESCRIPTION:Intro\n\n\n\nIn July awaits us another themed meeting\, brewing with roots at Molly Rose\, aka ‘Rooted’\, so please bring any creation you have with you\, be it ginger\, potatoes\, carrots – you have it\, you bring it! \n\n\n\nTheme\n\n\n\nRooted / brewing with roots!  \n\n\n\nContent\n\n\n\nFor our July meeting we are heading back to Molly Rose for some exciting beers\, themed as ‘‘brewing with roots’\, or ‘Rooted’. We will be joined by Nic Sandery\, founder and brewer at Molly Rose\, to talk to us about some weird and wonderful creations brewed with roots. Additionally we will have Cameron E. showcase his wasabi beer. \n\n\n\nFood\n\n\n\nHappy hour 4-6pm\, $10 pints\, and a new menu with lots of pizzas. \n\n\n\nMeeting\n\n\n\nWe will kick off announcements at roughly 7:15pm. The committee will give everyone a 5 minute warning so you have time to get another beer from the bar. For the meeting we will be located in the brewery area. \n\n\n\nMeeting\n\n\n\nAs with all club meetings please support the venue by ordering their beers at the start of the night (if you can). \n\n\n\nHomebrew\n\n\n\nLater\, after the club updates\, it is highly encouraged for you to share the home brew you’ve brought. Sharing your creations is not only a top thing to do but it’s a great way to get constructive feedback to improve your brewing. DESCRIPTION:VicBrew is the biggest homebrew competition of the year. It attracts more entries than any other competition\, covers every beer style imaginable\, and features two full days of judging. It’s always an epic event. \n\n\n\nCheck out the VicBrew website for entry details\, but the Mashers strongly encourage members to get involved. Enter a beer to receive valuable feedback from experienced judges\, volunteer as a judge or steward\, or simply come along to the Belgian Beer Café at Southbank to enjoy a few beers and cheer on the place-getters. \n\n\n\nWhether you’re competing\, volunteering\, or just supporting from the sidelines\, VicBrew is one of the highlights of the brewing calendar.

SUMMARY:Oktoberfest @ Tallboy & Moose
DESCRIPTION:Tallboy has been running its annual Oktoberfest celebration for many years\, and the Mashers have been serving our own beers there for almost as long. \n\n\n\nIt’s a fantastic event packed with great German-style beer\, lederhosen\, pretzels\, live music\, competitions\, and plenty of good times. It’s not one to miss. \n\n\n\nAs always\, a select group of Mashers will be brewing beers for the event. It’s a rare privilege for home brewers to serve their creations to the general public\, and it’s a great opportunity to showcase both their brewing skills and the club. \n\n\n\nGrab some friends and head down to Tallboy to support the Mashers who brewed for the event\, enjoy some outstanding beer\, and celebrate German culture in style.

From subtle tweaks to bold reimaginings\, each brewer has put their own spin on the recipe. \n\n\n\nOn the day\, these beers will be served to the public\, who will vote to crown their favourite recreation of Matriarch IPA. \n\n\n\nCome along\, sample the beers\, celebrate Matriarch Day\, and support the Mashers who have brewed especially for this event.
