Our August 2016 meeting will feature the Hop Swap - where members are encouraged to bring along hop rhizomes (the root system of a hop plant) to swap with other members, or perhaps sell/purchase outright. Members are advised to ensure the hop rhizome is indeed alive, and to bring the rhizome wrapped in a damp material (newspaper, cloth, etc) and enclosed in a bag of some-sort.

We also have a talk from one of our esteemed members, Hendo (Brew Cult). Hendo is going to run the Mashers through some tips in how to best package your brews. Think oxygen free keg transfers, bottling etc. Being that oxygen is one of the biggest enemies of fresh beer, this should make for an invaluable mini-master class.

Outside of this, and our regular monthly agenda and news-items, please bring your homebrew along to share with other members.
